TutorTrove was founded in the spring of 2007 by two students with one shared mission: to combine the intimacy of personal tutoring with the convenience of the Internet.

We believe that effective tutoring requires the trust that a personal relationship fosters, and that no amount of technology can supplant the relationships cultivated by the nation's most successful tutoring firms. We work with these firms to supplement their offerings, providing access to our powerful software and personalized service.

TutorTrove was founded by Sam Bollier, an undergraduate at Brown University, and Eli Luberoff, an undergraduate at Yale University. Both have extensive experience programming and tutoring. TutorTrove is based in New Haven, Connecticut.
